Finally a new outfit post! I am so happy :)) ! I decided to wear layers and black and white which made my outfit pretty graphic. I also added my new favourite coat from Anna Ruohonen and golden earrings to finish this look.
It's time to write about my all time favourite press event. It really made the rainy and gray day better. I went to see the newest collection of Arela (click here to read about A/W16 collection). It was presented at Kirsti Tuokko's studio which made everything even more interesting. I love how her paintings matched with the clothes.
The S/S17 collection is full of simple and modern pieces as usual but this time in all tones of pastel colours. Light pink coat in cotton sateen, loose-fitting kaftan dress and easy, cosy merino-cashmere knits are what I really look forward. So beautiful! <3
I got an opportunity to visit H&M showroom and see the new designer collaboration collection: KENZO. This parisian fashion house was actually my favourite when I was younger (still going strong) and I've been waiting for this collection to come for so long. And I am not joking. Finally it's true!
So what is it all about? Colours, prints and ruffles everywhere, not forgetting the iconic tiger logo. This time we are having some crazy cool pieces for men as well. I can't wait THE day to come, three days to go!
Marimekko S/S17 collection presented yesterday at Paris Fashion Week. I see something really new and fresh. Beautiful materials and modern, fashionable pieces. Great styling and details. I think this is how I'll survive through the cold and dark winter -we have definitely something to look forward. Here is my favourite look. What's yours?
It's getting colder and colder outside. It's time to pick up all your favourite seasonal knits that carry you from summer to autumn. The oversized sweater paired with a simple skirt and bare legs is definitely easy and effortlessly feminine look for early autumn days.
Here are two more photos of the Levi's denim dress which I was talking about earlier. I am definitely going to wear it during this autumn as well. Can't wait to style it with seasonal softness. I think it could really work with cosy knits and coats!
#Tb to last week when I was modelling for Anni Ruuth and some other young and talented designers at LeBonk club in Helsinki. I was super excited to work with amazing people and so happy to wear all the lovely outfits by Anni, Esmeralda and Iiris.
We got to use oh, so beautiful shoes from Zio. Those high heels made me feel like a Cinderella and walking was such a pleasure. I really think that I need a pair (or maybe two) for myself as well. So if you're looking for a new shoes make sure to check A/W16 collection. Maybe the prince will arrive too. At least a treat for your feet!
At first I really wanna thank Jere who took these amazing photos of me a few weeks ago. He is super!
I wanted to wear something a bit more standing out so I picked these striped trousers. Honestly speaking I am not really sure about this outfit. What do you think? Later that day the weather proved to be a bit problematic. Maybe a raincoat and a good pair of wellies would have been a better choice...
Let me introduce you one talented designer of the KOE16 -fashion show: Anni Ruuth. She really knows how to work with different kind of materials. Silk, pastel pink and feathers. She was inspired by the Swan Lake -ballet and a whooper swan. The collection also stands for ethical, sustainable and responsible fashion. I am in love! We decided to work together and did something pretty amazing. Enjoy!
Nuori vaatesuunnittelija on todella määrätietoinen.
Tapa, jolla Anni lähestyy aihetta on mielenkiintoinen. Lopputyömallisto pohjautuu tutkimukseen untuvateollisuuden eettisestä ongelmasta, mikä on lintujen elävänä kyniminen taloudellisen voiton maksimoimiseksi. Vaatteissa on käytetty kierrätettyä untuvaa ja untuvateollisuuden sivutuotteena tulleita höyheniä. Eläinperäisistä materiaaleista on siis pyritty löytämään mahdollisimman vastuulliset vaihtoehdot.
I started my day with a good cup of coffee as usually. What more I was going through menswear S/S17 collections. Yeaah, I have to confess you my huge love towards men's fashion. It really is my secret passion and weakness.
I wanted to show you one of my favourites: Craig Green. Layers, blanket stripes, hoods, perfect colour combinations... Oh, those trench coats!! I feel I really need one. So many good looks and a talented, young designer. Can't wait to see more! He's getting better and better. Watch out!
I wanted to wear something casual, so I ended up to choose this knitted look. I usually wear this outfit when I don't have that much time to get ready. It's so comfy, but still looks stylish. These knitted trousers are absolutely my favourite ones! They work well worn with the matching top, but there are also so many other ways to combine them. Love!
It's always exciting to see collections of the young designers. This year it was all about interesting combinations of unusual materials and playful details. There are such a great group of new talents and I am definitely going to keep an eye on my favourite ones.
If you're looking for something super easy to wear this summer, then continue reading. I think this oversize shirt dress was my most used garment last summer (still going strong!!) The loose fit is something what you need when the sun is really shining. Definitely the best dress for warm-weather days!
Finally I am feeling better after being sick about three weeks. I am so happy that the sun is shining and I can enjoy it. Now is really time to get back in business. I have so many things to tell you and so many outfits waiting for you. Here we go -first summer look!
I am so in love with this Marimekko shirt. It's very simple and classic. I think that less is more and paired it just with a skirt and sandals. Easy, but works!
